Hello — I’m Gela Keller
Or, in the everyday world: Sigrid Drescher.
The name Gela Keller is derived from my maiden name, Sigrid Angela Keller.
It’s the part of me that connects to my inner child — the one that dreams in symbols, speaks in silence, and listens closely when the mist whispers old stories.
At heart, I have always been a writer. A storyteller. A dreamer who never quite stopped believing that dragons are real — if not out there in the world, then certainly within us.
I write to explore truths I cannot express in any other language.
I write because the stories don’t leave me alone until I do.
My Journey as a Writer
“You should write.”
I must have heard that sentence a hundred times over the course of my life. And just as many times, I smiled, nodded — and quietly set the thought aside.
Until about five years ago, when I finally stopped just listening… and let writing become part of my world.
I’ve always loved stories. I grew up with books that made me laugh, filled me with wonder, and inspired me to dream bigger. Lighthearted tales, bold adventures, characters with hearts full of mischief or longing — I devoured them all.
But what stayed with me most were the stories that left a quiet shimmer behind. The ones that made me feel as though something important had just passed through me.
My imagination has always lived in strange places: in the stars, in the shadowy corners of myth, along the winding paths between heart and mind. And eventually, all of it found its way into my writing.
“The Mistveil Chronicles” began with a single, powerful moment of inspiration.
I wrote the first draft in just three months — but it took nearly three years to shape the world around it, find the right voice, and polish the characters until they felt real. So real they could breathe.
Today, I write to explore. To discover. To invite others — like you — into worlds where magic is still felt, where choices carry weight, and where nothing is ever quite as it seems.
About The Mistveil Chronicles
At the heart of The Mistveil Chronicles lies a world shaped by legacy, magic, and the quiet strength of those who refuse to be forgotten — because they are the bearers of old knowledge.
The story begins with Sabina, a rebellious knight’s daughter bound not just by blood, but also by prophecy. Her journey leads through exile, ancient secrets, and a profound bond with a man — a king raised in another world.
Through her — and those by her side — we discover a land steeped in feminine power, mythic memory, and the restless whisper of the mist.
This series is for everyone who loves layered fantasy with emotional depth — stories where dragons are sacred, love resists boundaries, and the past never stays silent.
In Conclusion
I’m so glad you found your way through the mist to me.
Whether you’ve just reached the edge of this world, or followed the fog deep into its heart — I’m grateful to share this space with you.
Writing is a lonely path until someone reads — then it becomes something shared. Something alive.
I hope these stories reach you exactly when you need them.
I hope they stir something inside you — something quiet, something important.
And I hope that wherever you go from here,
you carry a little of the mystic mist — filled with ancient knowledge — within you.
